Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#10“Kaji Fes. 2013”AFTER LIVE MEMORIAL BOOKLET ~ unboxing

Finally... this is my third and final post for the night. :)

The Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#10“Kaji Fes. 2013”AFTER LIVE MEMORIAL BOOKLET was released as a FictionJunction Fan Club exclusive and as I don't live in Japan, I can't apply for a membership and hence, I had to ask my really awesome friend, Itsuko, to help me buy this item.  And the even more awesome thing about this item is.... Itsuko refused to let me pay for it and gave it to me as a gift instead.  That's really very cool of her. :)  Thank you!! :)

This is Kajiura Yuki's 20th year in the music industry and to celebrate this milestone, she threw a 5 1/2 hour long Live earlier this year.  Kaji Fes. 2013 had an amazing guest list and I would love to have gone for the concert but as I was already obligated to make a pretty expensive trip in October, I had no choice but to give the concert a miss and hope in futile despair for a blu-ray / dvd release.   Okay... that is a tad dramatic but it does describe to a certain extent my sadness at my inability to make it to any of Kajiura Yuki's FictionJunction lives and the Kalafina lives this year. :(

A Kaji Fes. Live pamphlet was released before this booklet and Itsuko helped me buy it.  Here is my unboxing post of that pamphlet.  Click me.

After the release of that pamphlet, Kajiura Yuki also decided to release a fan club exclusive booklet that covers the event itself.  So we now have this... the Memorial Booklet.

Compared to Kajiura Yuki's Live pamphlets, this is a lot simpler and a lot less wordy.  Also, we don't get the pretty binding and the small bits of line drawings that can be found peppered throughout many of Kajiura Yuki's live pamphlets.  This is pretty much a photobook with just a few pages of text.

The book dimensions are about the size of an A4 size sheet of paper.  The font and back cover is glossy and smooth.

It opens with a foreword from Kajiura Yuki herself.  And then are two pages of text detailing the events of the first half of the concert and the setlist too.  Followed by photos of the first half of the live.  After which we get another two page spread detailing the events of the second half of the concert and then a ton more photos.  The last section of the photobook also includes pages of photographs of the rehearsals at the studio and the rehearsals at the concert venue itself.  The booklet ends with a 3 page interview with Kajiura Yuki and a one page credit page.

Here are the rest of the photos.  I tried to give a good mix of photos and tried to get sample photos of everyone... but I was quite tired when I shot these photos, so hopefully I got them all... :P

Okay... I admit... it's a little more Keiko centric then I expected. :P

Okay... that's it for today... the next post I write will hopefully be a continuation of my account of my very eventful visit to Japan which will eventually include quite a bit of Mahou Shoujo Madoka related events as well as the account of the Kalafina Cafe visit.  It won't be tomorrow night... I'm not sure when I'll write yet... we'll see how busy I get during the week... for now... I need to go write a response to something and after that... sleep.  Good night and I hope you all enjoyed the 3 "unboxing" posts tonight. :)  Oyasumi. :)
