Ieiri Leo new album "20" announced

It's a good day for me. :)  Not only did Kajiura Yuki announce a new album, Ieiri Leo also did. :)

This is Ieiri Leo's first album release since she turned 20 which is why this album is called "20" I think. :)

This time it'll come in two flavours.  We have a Regular Edition and a Limited Edition. :)

The nice thing about her releases is that the cover art is usually released with the announce. :)

So here you go...

Limited Edition

1. miss you (TBS系テレビ「CDTV」2・3月度オープニングテーマ曲)
2. little blue
3. Silly (TBS系金曜ドラマ「Nのために」主題歌)
4. lost in the dream
5. 心のカ・タ・チ~Another Story~
6.TWO HEARTS
7. For you (クラレ企業CMタイアップソング)
8. 純情 (フジテレビ系TVアニメ「ドラゴンボール改」エンディング主題歌)
9. Still
10. love & hate
11. 勇気のしるし (第5回福岡アジア美術トリエンナーレ イメージソング)
12.Last Song

「FictionJunction 2010-2013 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE 2」album release announce

source
OH YEAH!!!! New CD announce from Kajiura Yuki !! :)

She'll be releasing 「FictionJunction 2010-2013 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE 2」 with tracks from various lives recorded between 2010-2013. Awesome news for us fans. :)

It'll consist of 3 CDs and is set for a 3rd of June release, just before her series of lives in Tokyo and Osaka. :)

This release has a "2" at the end because this isn't the first time that Kajiura Yuki has released a collection of tracks from her lives.  In 2010, she released a 2 Disc album titled FictionJunction 2008-2010 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE which I bought way back then but I think I wasn't doing un-boxings then so I don't have an un-boxing post of the release.  This time though... I will. :)

Suiyoubi no Campanella's CM for a phone app is pretty cool :)

I think this CM is for an iPhone made by Casio Computers and if I read it correctly, it's a shopping dairy app. The likelihood of me using this app is zero because I use an android phone but the CM is pretty cool nonetheless. :)

I never found the time to write a post waxing lyrical about Suiyoubi no Campanella.  Ever since I saw them on a J-Melo episode last year, I've really been rather into their music.  At one point in time, I was looping all the songs on their YouTube channel for about a week.

SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2015「HELLO WORLD」in SG ~ ticket info released

I must say that the cost of the tickets aren't too bad at all.  I thought with them moving to a nicer location that the cost will also go up by quite a bit.  Early bird VIP is SGD138 and comes with a hi-five session.  That's actually not bad at all.

I'm still considering if I'll go because I've already decided that I will be going to Kajiura Yuki's vol.12 live in June.  My friend in has already helped me apply for the lottery and I managed to get tickets for 5 out of the 6 lives.  I would like to have gotten all 6 but 5 is very, very good already and I'm very happy about it. This time I will get to listen to all 3 set-lists. :)

Anyway... enough of that, break over... back to work. :)

cheers

Anime Festival Asia 2015 survey

Hi guys, please do take some time out to do the AFA survey if you hope to see your favourite artists in Singapore.

I already did it.  As usual, I asked for Kajiura Yuki, FictionJunction, Kalafina, angela and Ieiri Leo. :)  This time I added Kondo Hikaru from ufotable.  And I also asked for Nanri Yuuka.  And I asked once again for Honda Takako even though I know that there is no chance they'll invite her to come... still... I had to ask. :)

cheers

Bessatsu Kadokawa Soryoku Tokushu Kalafina - tokuten & other info

Kalafina announced on the 10th Jan that there will be a special Bessatsu Kadokawa Soryoku Tokushu publication that will be solely about Kalafina.  I wanted to write about it but was simply too busy to then.  I think by now most fans would know about this release.

Kadokawa is asking Kalafina fans to fill out a questionnaire by the 30th Jan and your comments might be included in the magazine. :)  CLICK ME to complete the questionnaire.

I've already filled it out and submitted it already. :)  I'm not sure if anyone was daunted by the Japanese but in case some people didn't do it because they thought they had be a resident of Japan or something, I can safely tell you that you don't need to be a resident of Japan to submit your comments.  You can just select "その他" in the drop-down menu that asks for which prefecture or town you come from and you will still be able to submit your replies.

Lisani! Vol.19 ~ Kalafina's interview

This is an easy, picture heavy post. One of my friends just returned from Japan with a gift for me.  He knows that I really like the anime Psycho-Pass so he thought that he'll buy me something with Psycho-Pass on it and he bought me the Lisani! Vol.19 magazine which was super cool of him. :)

I was really pretty happy about it because not only does vol.19 come with a Psycho-Pass cover, it also comes with a postcard and a Kalafina interview. I knew that vol.18 comes with an interview with Kalafina, but I didn't realise that vol.19 also contained an interview with them.

Akagi Rie tweets that she'll be performing at Kalafina's Budokan live 2015

Ahhhhh.... finally..... an entry about Kalafina. :) It's been a while, hasn't it? :) Actually, there have been bits and pieces of news about my favourite trio for several weeks but I haven't had time to digest most of it. The shot I was working on has finally gone up the pipeline so I'm feeling more relaxed today, hence, I thought I'll write up some stuff for my poor neglected blog. :)

This is a day or two late but it seems that Akagi Rie will be performing at the Budokan with Kalafina in Feb/Mar this year.  Awesome.  I like Akagi Rie. :)

I'm really looking forward to Kalafina's live at the Budokan this year for a few reasons.  I actually really do miss Japan and I haven't been able to visit the country last year, so I'm quite happy that I am able to this year.  Also, I haven't been able to see both Kalafina and Kajiura Yuki live since 2013, so am quite excited that I'll be able to see Kalafina live again.  And I've never been to a concert venue that big so it'll be quite an experience, I think. :)

Scandal live in Singapore - date & venue announced

Finally we have more news regarding Scandal's live in Singapore.  As announced previously, they will be performing in SG as part of the "Hello World" world tour.  The date and venue have been announced.

Date: 8th May 2015 (Friday)
Time: 8pm

Venue: The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa,

I attended their live once before, at Scape and I also attended their autograph session the day before that live. :)  It was fun.

Who wants to see Wagakki Band in Singapore? :)

I DO!!!!!! :)

While I'm definitely not the biggest Wagakki Band fan that I know, I do like their music and I think they would be very fun to see live.  I'm also partial to this kind of music and I like mixed genre music or modernized classical music like Vanessa Mae's stuff and the once rather popular 12 Girl Band etc.

While Wagakki Band's cover of Senbonzakura is still my favourite song from the band, their other songs are quite enjoyable too.

Now Avex is holding a poll on their Facebook page asking fans if they want to see Wagakki Band live in SG.  Wagakki Band has performed live in SG before.  They were one of the bands who performed during the a-nation live in SG last year.  I didn't go because I was saving money for AFA2014 and the trips that I wanted to make this year.

Ieiri Leo ~ short MV for "miss you" has been released

I've been meaning to write about Ieiri Leo's latest release since last year but just couldn't find the time and energy to do it.  I guess now is a good time to do it since they just released the short MV for the song. :)

First up...

Aside from Ieiri, the other girl who appears in the MV is actress Sugisaki Hana.

"miss you" is the opening theme song for TBS's CDTV music program for February and March of this year.

Rest in Peace Origa :'(

I was about to go to bed when I saw Imagine Nation's post on FB that Origa has left this world. :(

I will always remember her song for Fantastic Children.  It was Mizu no Madoromi which etched her name into my mind.  Although, most people who aren't huge fans of anime will probably remember her for her work on Ghost in the Shell, for me it would always be this song.

Rest in peace Origa... you will be missed. :'(

Naruto stage adaptation in Singapore, June 2015

I actually knew about this before this article on CNA but I forgot about it. :P  Not sure how many other people who live in Singapore know about it so I thought I would put the word out.

I'm interested in going actually and if the price is right and it fits into my schedule, I may go check this out since I have never seen an anime stage production before. :)

I was thinking of writing a Kalafina or Ieiri Leo post tonight but am going to abandon that for now. Need to sleep.  Really tired today and have had a slight headache all day.  Now that I am done with all the stuff I need to get done today... it's time to sleep. :)

Good night and I hope that everyone has a great week. :)

angela streams short version of "Exist" (Soukyuu no Fafner: EXODUS OP)

HI!!!!! I'm back!!!!  Well... I'm really not sure how active I will be able to be on the blog at this point in time. I've been extremely busy at work with a shot that is proving to be more difficult to finish than I hoped. :(  Also, I'm determined to try and prepare myself better for many of the new challenges ahead this year at work.  This means a word that so many Singaporeans seem to dread.... UPGRADE!!! :)  Well, I firmly believe in the Chinese saying "活 到 老,学 到 老"  so I don't really have a problem with it but it also means that a large portion of my time will have to be spent on tutorials and practice.  Ganbarimasu!! :)

AAA live in Singapore ~ tickets on sale now. :)

Been really busy, but took a bit of a break to buy two tickets to AAA's live in Singapore at Scape. :)

I wanted to go for the VIP tickets but my friend didn't want to.  So we got GA instead. :(  Still.... at least I'm going. :)

Just a bit of info for those who are interested.  Avex is saying that entry into the hall will be via serial number on the tickets.  So if you want to enter as a group, it would be best to buy the tickets together.  And if you want to stand as close to the stage as possible, it would be best to get your tickets sooner rather than later.  The serial numbers will be generated at the time of transaction, not collection.  So if you can't collect your tickets immediately, it's okay, as long as you purchase them earlier.  You also won't get a notification of what your serial number is via email but they will be printed on your physical ticket when you pick it up.

That's all the news I managed to gather via their comments on FB.  I think they should be correct. :)

Okay... back to work... break over. :)

cheers

AAA live in Singapore - details released

Avex has released details of AAA's live in SG. :)  Tickets go on sale on the 9th Jan on Sistic.  The live will be at SCAPE on the 4th April.  SCAPE's concert hall has a live house feel.  Not the best acoustics but usual the atmosphere more than makes up for it.  I'm going to try and go.  Probably VIP tickets. :)

あけましておめでとうございます!

Happy New Year everyone!  I really hope that 2015 will be better than 2014.  May we see fewer disasters and more love and  peace in the world.  TBH, it was a little hard to feel complete joyous when 2014 saw so much tragedy and hate in the news.  I had a hard time figuring out what to write, not just in my "yoi otoshi wo" post, but also in this first post of the new year and in my FB status greetings.  I think I was not the only one to feel that way since so many of us wished for PEACE and LOVE in our status updates.

In the end I opted for a light hearted post for my last post of 2014 because I wanted to end the year on a happier, lighter note.  And while I am still a little pensive and reflective and I think that no words can truly express the complexity of my feelings and thoughts right now, I really want to start this year on a more hopeful note too.  Let us treasure all the blessings that we have.  Let us love our family and friends.  Let us be grateful that we are alive and healthy. Let us enjoy good food and good music.  BUT most of all, let us love and not hate and let there be peace not just in our daily lives but in the world this year. :)

I wish you all the best this year.  May you have a great year!!  去年いろいろお世話になりました、今年もよろしくお願いします。 I wish you all a happy, healthy and peaceful 2015. :)
