Kalafina ~ Consolation - unboxing part 4b

Here are 3 more photos of the photo book. They are all Keiko centric because I do like her best. :) And also because I was falling asleep as I shot photos of the book so I didn't feel like doing much more. :p

:) Enjoy.

Hi ClaraS,

Thanks for coming by and leaving such pleasant messages. :)

Yeah... Kalafina is great, aren't they? How do you like Consolation? I like it quite a bit actually. :) Maybe I'll try and write an impressions post when I have time... fingers crossed. :)

Thanks for the comments. It really does make me happy to read comments on the blog. :)

cheers

Other than those were in singles already, consolation just became my favourite right away.(Kajiura's music with running/rolling rhythm almost always becomes my favourite instantly)Door and Hanataba are those that start growning in me more and more as I spend more time listening to them.
I will be going to one of their consolation live in Japan during June, so look forward to it!

Of all the new song, the one which was an instant favourite for me was Signal. But I have a weakness for the Magnolia, Magia, Ongaku etc type of song.

Door really grew on me later on though and I think that currently, I have two favourites. Signal and Door.

After that, I really like Consolation and Obligatto too.

Hanabata is growing on me too, after I've heard the entire album several times thru'.

Oooooooo.... I'm so envious!!!! You're going to a Consolation Live. Cool!!!!! I can't spend so much this year... if not, I would go for one of the Consolation Lives too. I think it would be awesome. Have a good time!!! :)

I have my fingers crossed that they'll have a live in October because I hope to make a trip to Japan in October and if they have a live, then I could try and plan the trip in a way where I can also attend that live... if I don't manage to make that happen... then probably no Kalafina and Kajiura Yuki lives for me this year. :( But I've been very lucky, I've seen them live several times, so I can't complain. :)

Have a great time at the live and in Japan!! :)

Ya,so look forward to the conecert! It will be like once in the lifetime that kind of thing though, too far from Japan (I live in Canada..) and since it's impossible to buy tickets at face value ( I had to buy through some sort of online buying service).Makes it very expensive going to concerts in Japan.

Ya! that's so cool that you have been to FJ and Kalafina concerts several times! Did you say you were at the first row during After Eden? OMG! envy envy!! I will be at 16th row kind of middle but a little bit closer to Hikaru side. Not too bad but I dont know if I should have invested more $ and try to get even better seat! Oh well it's been done already. Can't imagine how much it would be for first few rows tickets..

Did you buy tickets through someone you know in Japan? Darn the Japan ticket sysem that even you have a PO box address in Japan but credit card from oversea just won't go through...well good side is you can sort of roughly pick where you seat depends on you budget.

Hope they will have a concert during Oct then! :)

Ahhh... you live in Canada... yeah that is pretty far from Japan and would be expensive to travel there often. :(

I'm lucky because I have a Japanese friend who is also a fan of Kajiura Yuki, FictionJunction and Kalafina. She's also a member of the fanclub, so she will help me to try and get the concert tickets. Hence, each time that I've gone for the concerts, I've always managed to get them at face value.

It's a funny story actually. She's an old friend from university and one day she found me on FB and as we communicated over the months, one day she said that if I was going to Japan to make sure to contact her. I said, that I was thinking of going but it was dependent on if I manage to some how get a concert ticket to a Kalafina concert. She told me, she'll help me out and in the course of helping me out, she decided to check out Kalafina and Kajiura Yuki's music. She got hooked, became a fan and joined the fan club. Hahahaha... so I'm lucky she liked the music too because of that, I am able to get these tickets more easily then other people living outside of Japan.

I was never in the first row of any of the concerts... sadly. :( The closest I have come was 6th row (if I remember correctly) at the Anime Festival Asia in Singapore, two years ago. I had to stand by the computer with my friend as we tried to be one of the first people to buy the tickets thru' the online ticketing system but I still only managed 6th row. Still it was cool because it's a lottery system in the Japan concerts so I've never gotten closer than I think 19th or 20th row in the concert in Japan.

At the After Eden concert, I was in the 1st balcony... maybe that was 6th row from the edge of the 1st balcony, I don't quite remember. That seat was very good tho' because it was quite central, slightly more to Wakana's side. But that location was awesome, even at first balcony, you could see their faces and expressions quite clearly.

First few rows is really cool!! I managed to get first row tickets for the Perfume concert in Singapore, 2nd row for the Weaver/flumpool concert and somewhere near the front for the Scandal concert... as well as my 6th row for AFA Singapore and I think within the first 10 rows for AFA Malaysia... and it's AMAZING... but I've so far never paid more than face value for these tickets. Although if I was buying Kalafina, Kajiura Yuki tickets like you were, maybe thru' the auctions or thru' a third party I might be tempted to get a better ticket... :P

The Japan ticket system is really hard for internationals. :( But apparently, the Singapore system, depending which agency they use, can be quite restrictive too. I only just found that out from a friend who knew Malaysians trying to get tickets to the Scandal concert here in Singapore.

Have a great time at the Consolation concert. :) Have a great time in Japan too!! And if you have time and feel like it... drop by and let me know who it went. :)

If you need any more tips or have qns etc about the lives that I may be able to help with... just ask me... I'm not as quick with the replies these days because of work but I will reply as soon as I can... no worries there. :)

cheers
