This is a photo of the palace. The palace was destroyed by fire and later rebuilt. We didn't go in because there isn't that much to see. Most of the treasures were either destroyed or stolen. The lady in the photo is our polish guide. She's very well educated. Apparently she has a phd. This palace is built in the renaissance style except that the roof is slanted instead of flat. The reason for that is because there is more snow in Poland than Italy. If the roof was flat, it would collapse under the weight of the snow in winter. Apparently, according to our guide, when Poland was still under the control of the communists, they build buildings with flat roofs and many of those roofs collapse, killing many people.
