After Banska, it's another 4 to 5 hours via coach to Krakow. It started to rain intermitently in Banska and the quite ernestly about an hour later. Am now in Poland and should be near Krakow. It is really quite a scenic drive from Budapest to Krakow. It's pretty much hilly landscape for the most part until we crossed a fog filled mountain dotted with little picturesque towns. I'm not sure what mountain we crossed. I suspect it's the Tara Mountain but will need to verify that. It's been a wet and somewhat gloomy day, hope the rain will let up tomorrow when we actually checkout the city in earnest.
