There was finally movement from CCTV's official Weibo account today with regards to The Miracles short drama anthology.
We now have official confirmation on the cast and the characters that they play. Although I'm certain that story that Tong Yao and Chen Xiao star in wrapped earlier, I think today's announcements are to celebrate the wrap of the anthology as a whole.
If you remember Write-up 2, we discussed a rumored plot synopsis for a story called 城的琴 (City and Piano). Thanks to the original source image of that synopsis, we can now confirm that it was accurate, at least to some extent, since I still cannot verify where it came from.
The synopsis described a builder who worked on the Guomao Building and his girlfriend Su Mingshu. With Chen Xiao confirmed as the male lead, Lu Xiaobo (a slight name change from the rumored Lu Yuchun), and Tong Yao as Su Mingshu, it's clear she will be playing the girlfriend to Chen Xiao's builder character.
For now, let's just enjoy the promo images that they released today as we wait for more official information in the future. :)
