Expanded Look at Tong Yao’s Role in ‘The Miracles’ – New Promos Released

On 26 August, CCTV’s official Weibo account released a series of promotional stills and video clips to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. All the stars involved in the short film anthology marked the occasion by forming the numbers “4” and “5” with their hands.

For Tong Yao fans, the real highlight is the deeper glimpse into her role as Su Mingshu. Earlier promotional stills showed her simply dressed with two braids, seated at a piano. But beyond that, little was confirmed.

This new release, however, reveals much more. Tong Yao appears in construction worker attire, and clips from the promotional video show her character actively on set. This strongly supports the unconfirmed synopsis of the short drama, confirming that Su Mingshu and Chen Xiao’s character collaborate on the construction of the Guomao Building.
