Eastern europe day 2

We've landed in Vienna, Austra. Am so glad to be back on land. Our first stop was at a super market to buy water. We won't be staying in Vienna though. We'll be making our way to Hungary first and will only be back to Vienna to explore the city on a later day. Later. :-)

Eastern europe day 2

Am transiting in Dubai International Airport now. It's a relatively messy airport in my opinion. We were taken via bus to the airport terminal and had to go through security to enter the transit area. The area was small and there were far too many. It was quite chaotic. We also had to take off watches and belts and put our passports in our bags as everything had to go through the x-ray. I didn't like having to take off my belt. :-( Anyway, above is a photo of the airport terminal. Not the most representative perhaps but i don't really feel up to walking around to take a better shot. So... Too bad. :-)

Eastern europe day 1... Sorta

The tour agency I signed up with called this day one which is a bit of a cheat since I only check in at the airport today and only fly in the early hours of tomorrow. Anyway, have arrived at the airport way too early. Traffic was really good. I thought it might be busy cuz of the up coming public holiday on Monday. Anyway, am at terminal one. Will fly Emirates which I hear is nice. Well that's it for now, may go look for a place to hang for a bit. Cheers. :-)

Two days ago, i was on my way home when i say this little fellow making his way slowly along the pathway. He looked so cute, i decided to take a photo on my cell phone and share it with you. Anyway, tomorrow i go off on a 15 day tour of eastern europe. Hope it'll be fun. :-) good night. :-)

Cafe with a view.

It's a public holiday in japan today which makes me very happy. :-) it means i don't have to go into the office today as i wouldn't have much, if anything to do at all. Ah... One of the best perks of being a freelancer. :-) anyway, have taken the opportunity to have lunch with my parents and relax at a cafe while i work on my japanese studies. Went to the tcc in shaw and was offered a seat by the window which i really liked as it overlooked scotts road. I love days like these, everyone should have days like these. :-) ok, am off now. have a good day guys. :-)

Bored.

Am waiting for something to happen and am bored. So thought i would use this opportunity to put up a photo of jacky the jack russell. This was shot on my se cell phone during a shoot for something for work. I like this particular shot and like just how tiny she looks against the hdb flats, the field and the sky. Have been shooting on my cell phone. Quite rather enjoy it and am glad i got this phone, it'll come in handy when i go to eastern europe in may. K. Got to go. Later. :-)

Rain

It's been raining a lot lately which just about matches my mood right now. Yesterday something sad and disappointing happened at work and one of my friends was asked to leave on the very day she tendered. The circumstances leading to this point aren't pretty and feel so so wrong. All of of us who consider her a good colleague and friend can't held but feel badly about this whole thing. I'm sad to have to go to work today and sad that she won't be there. This photo's for you, zhu jiejie.
