Tong Yao and her studio have announced that The Miracles (奇迹) will premiere on December 22, 2025. If I understand the announcement correctly, the short episode she stars in alongside Chen Xiao will be among the first batch to air. New images have also been released, and we now have the official English title for this short episode: The Keyboard of Dreams (城的琴).

In the meantime, I am still working on my pieces for Those Days and Footprints of Change. I’ve realized I can’t really call them "reviews" anymore; they’ve turned into much lengthier thematic deep dives, so it is going to take me some time to finish them. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish at least one of them soon! 😅

Absolutely loved The Miracles, and did not expect to as I'm not generally a fan of dramas compiled of multiple short stories. But this one was brilliant, as almost every story was well-written, interesting and pretty unique, each director had a unique take on their particular stories, and the cast list was amazing -- any C-drama that features Bai Yu, Esther Wang, Guo Jing Fei, Jin Shi Jia, and Hu Ge is perfect in my books :)
