Mahou Shoujo Madoka Bluray Vol.1

Yay!!! My Mahou Shoujo Madoka Vol.1 bluray arrived today. :)  It's a day earlier than the release date because DHL from Japan was very efficient and delivered it earlier by one day.  Happiness. :)

I took some photos of the unboxing.  I haven't watched it yet or listened to the drama cd.  I just may watch it later just to see the quality of the bluray.  I've been too busy to even watch ep11.  I hope to do that within the next two days.

That's it from me today.  I need to go shower and after that, I just want to relax and do nothing for a bit before bed. :)

There is a warning on the drama cd.  If I read it correctly, I think the story that is dramatized in the drama cd has something to do with the events after Vol3 of this dvd set and I think the warning was to tell those who haven't been following the anime on tv, that it is best no to listen to the cd till after they have watched the episodes in Vol. 3.  At least, I think that is what the warning said.

It's not an ultra beautiful release with high quality glossy paper etc.  I think it would have been nice if the booklet that was included with the release has higher quality glossy paper.  But I think the main attraction here is the drama cd and the audio commentary.  Of course they quite possibly will release a super duper compilation release with all the episodes and extra spiffy stuff once the anime finishes or when they finish with the single volume limited edition release.  If that set is really nice, then i think that's when boyfriend's are useful.  Hahahaha... kidding.  Unless it's super duper nice with something I really, really, really want.  I'm quite happy with my current decision to purchase the limited edition blurays as they are released.

Now I just can't wait for Vol.2 of the blurays to be release because that will be packed with vol.1 of Kajiura Yuki's OST for the anime. :)

Getting this in the mail today makes working all that overtime worth it.  Totally made my day. :)

I have several Mahou Shoujo, Kalafina, Kajiura Yuki, FJ and photos posts I would like to post.  But that really depends on whether I can free up enough time to do it.  Sadly, as is always the case with me... my work has this tendency to consume my life and time.  It's a good thing I actually like my work. :)  K... off to shower and rest... and if it's not too late and I'm not too tired, maybe I'll start with some basic tutorials for Nuke too.
