Kalafina ~ Kimi no Gin no Niwa - listed

Just got home and really sleepy but thought I would write this up quickly and then go to bed. :)

It was previously announced the the Kalafina will be singing one of the theme songs for the Mahou Shoujo Madoka ~ Rebellion movie.  The 3rd movie is scheduled to screen in Japan on the 26th Oct and if all goes well, I will watch this movie in Japan. :)

Anyway, the song is titled Kimi no Gin no Niwa and the single is scheduled for a 6th Nov release as recently announced.  CDJapan just listed all 4 versions of this release.

Please do buy them if you can afford it... I'm going to place my order before I go to bed... and I think this time I will just get all 4 releases, the DVD version and the RE version too  I think I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan with each Kajiura Yuki / FictionJunction and Kalafina release. :P

The paper they used to print the flyer is actually kind of nice.  I'm glad my friend brought it back for me too. :)

Kalafina Live Tour 2013 "Consolation Special Final" DVD / BD release date announced

We also now have a release date for the DVD / BD release of the August 4th Live that was announced some time ago.  This release is now scheduled for the 11th Dec. (source)  That's all the news we have for this release so far.

Sounds like it would be a busy 4th quarter for Kalafina, as well as, a good 4th quarter for fans who live in Japan. 

I'm sure that there will be a flurry of promotional activities for fans... too bad... too bad I'm locked into travelling in the later two weeks of October.  If any lives or events occur outside of the time when I am scheduled to be in Tokyo... I will not be able to attend. :'(  I have 3 other people with me and they would kill me if I change our plans drastically.

Ah well... at least they are releasing this on BD... so I am pretty happy about that already. :)

Kalafina ~ Mahou Shoujo Madoka Hangyaku no Monogatari CD single announced

FINALLY... I have been waiting and waiting for this announce!!  :)  Sony has also announced that the theme song for movie 3 will be released. (source)

The single will be released on the 6th Nov and the title of the song will be "Kimi no Gin no Niwa" (君の銀の庭) which I guess sort of translates into "Your Silver Garden" (... my translation's kind of literal... :P )

Looks like there will be the usual 4 versions.  There will be 3 limited editions and 1 regular edition.   One will come with a BD, another with a DVD, one more LE will be the Anime version and the final version will be the RE.

I think they are also saying that the Anime version will come in a digipak with an anime illustration.  Also, a Precious Memories Mahou Shoujo Madoka PR card (Kalafina) will also be included with these singles.

The announce came with this illustration attached to it but I don't think that that's what the Precious Memories card will look like. :)

Kalafina ~ Alleluia - will include tracks from the 2012 Christmas Live :)

Sony Music made 3 announcements about Kalafina today.  :)

First up, they have released more info about the Alleluia single. (source)  And it's good stuff for us fans because they will be including FOUR tracks from the 2012 Christmas Live. 

Yay!! Because most fans, especially those of us who do not reside in Japan, will never be able to hear these versions unless they are release on CD or digitally.   I am super happy about that. :)

Two of these tracks will be on the RE release and two more on the LE release.  So if you want all 4 tracks, you'll have to get both singles.

Aside from the title song for the single, the B-side release is called "dolce".  I don't know if it features in Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin but I'm thinking it's possibly an insert song?

Been really busy at work... lots of OT and lots of weekend work... and need to do some tutorials in preparation for the next show... so am very busy again... hence, have been forced to neglect the blog somewhat. :(

But I do keep taps on Kajiura Yuki, FictionJunction and Kalafina's movements. :)

I've been checking the Spacecraft webstore almost daily for a while now because I have been really wanting to go do some retail therapy.  I don't know when they updated their webstore but if it wasn't today, it was probably yesterday.  Lots of the Consolation Live Good are now available online.  YAY!!!

I just made an order using a proxy service instead of troubling my friend again.  This order is going to be quite hefty as I ordered the Live pamphlet, the posters, the photo book and 2 other items for a friend.  Also, I intend on asking my friend to order the Memorial Booklet from the members only section so I just didn't feel it was right to make my friend spend so much and wait for me to arrive in October with the cash.  I already owe her for other items I had asked her to purchase earlier in the year.

I really like some of the t-shirts too but I can't afford so many things and I decided that I rather have the pamphlets etc because I already have quite a few of their t-shirts.  A lot of the t-shirts sold out within hours of me first seeing them online.  Good thing I had already made up my mind to stay away from the t-shirts. :)

I will be travelling to Japan in October, so there will be a ton of unboxing posts after that. :D  My Mahou Shoujo Madoka BD with the deskmat is with one of my friends and I will also carry back my Kalafina Alleluia single and if they release the BD of the Consolation Live while I am in Japan, I'll carry that back too. :D

Heh heh... I love retail therapy. :D

Kalafina 2014 Calendar ~ listed

CDJapan updated their website today with a listing for the Kalafina 2014 calendar.  No pictures yet... but I thought I'll alert folks who may be interested in the calendar and post up three photos of the 2013 calendar that I shot over the months. :)

CDJapan's listing says that this calendar will have these dimensions, 60 x 30 and will also have 28 pages.  But I don't know how accurate this is and if they merely just based it on previous year's calendars.

I'll most likely pick up this calendar too.  I am scheduled to fly to Tokyo in October... so hopefully it'll be available for then and I can get it shipped to me so that I can carry it back. :)

Short post.. I have several personal things I have to take care of and tomorrow I go back to work... so would like to sleep soon. :)

Well... we didn't have to wait very long for this announce and I am happy that we didn't have to wait too!!!

Kalafina just announced that they will be releasing a DVD / Blu-ray of this just concluded Live. click me

OMG!!! I am sooooo over the moon with happiness right now. :)

They also just announced the Xmas Premium Live in December.  click me Looks like this is pretty much an annual event for them.  :)

Sadly, I am unable to be in Japan... would have loved to have gone to this Live.  I am stuck at work... on my 8th straight day actually.... *sweat... lucky I go on a short break soon and will have time to get lots of stuff done... although I'm not sure if any of it will be blogging related right now. :P

Meanwhile... my friend Itsuko is at the Live... maybe it's just over, I'm not sure but before the live she FB messaged me to say that she saw lots of cameras.

So fingers crossed that this means a Blu-ray release!!! :)  That would make me incredibly happy and make up for the fact that it is very unlikely right now that I will see Kajiura Yuki, FJ or Kalafina live this year and probably next year too.  :(

Lastly... if you can afford it... please do buy their lastest album Consolation or their soon to be release single Alleluia (or Hallelujah, depending on which spelling you prefer).

Itsuko just wrote to me to tell me that there was a live cellist and flutist at the live.  She didn't give me the names but she did say that they have performed at Kajiura Yuki's lives before.

Also, she said that Kalafina announced that their CD will be released in Oct, that's probably the Alleluia single.  And they also announced a Live in December.  She said that the usual front band will not be playing the music at the Dec Live, instead they will only have the piano, the violin and the cello.

Man!!!!  I really wish I would win the lottery... I will go to this live if I could!!!  Sigh... back to work again... :(
