Kalafina, angela ~ Animelo Summer Live 2014 ~ Blu-ray release announced

As usual, my main interest in all things anisong still revolves mainly around Kajiura Yuki, her vocal projects (FictionJunction and Kalafina) and angela.  Both Kalafina and angela performed on the second day of the world's largest anime concert event, Anisama.

The official twitter account for Anisama, Animelo Summer Live tweeted that this year's Anisama will once again air on NHK BS premium channel.  The official website did not state any dates yet.  Details will only be released later.  They also tweeted that they intend to release the blu-ray of the event.  The BD is set for a Spring 2015 release.  More details of that release will also be released later.

Lucky for me both Kalafina and angela performed on the same day which means that if I do pick this release up, I will only need to pick up day 2 of the live which is the live on 30th August. :)  What really helps sweeten it for me is that Flow also performed on the same day and I've had good feelings for them since I saw them live at AFA twice previously.

Let's hope that Kalafina's songs will be released on this BD.  SMEJ sometimes can be really controlling when it comes to their artists...so who knows.   If they aren't included in this BD, then I'm unlikely to pick it up at all.

Hikaru wrote in an entry on Kalafina's official blog that they sang the following songs and did one MC.

They also performed in the last two songs at the event RE:BRIDGE～Return to oneself～ and ONENESS, as did angela and all the other artistes at the live.

Okay.... off to bed, it looks like it's going to be a tough week as well as a pretty crazy end to this year for me.  It looks like I might get ridiculously busy.... ganbarimasu!!!!!  For now though... oyasumi. :P
