Kalafina ~ far on the water - tokuten information released.

Oh.... Kalafina just released information and images for the tokutens for their soon to be released album far on the water.

Ieiri Leo ~ Kimi ga Kureta Natsu ~ regular edition - WANT TO SELL

Yup, I would like to sell this Ieiri Leo CD.   I already have the Limited Edition with the DVD and I intend to keep that.

However, I also bought the Limited Edition with the goods and I would like to keep the goods but sell the CD that came with it.

The CD that came with the LE+Goods edition is actually the Regular Edition.  The packaging and the tracklist is exactly the same.

It's no secret that aside from being a huge Kajiura Yuki, FictionJunction and Kalafina fan, I also really like Ieiri Leo, angela and Suiyoubi no Campanella.  I've fallen behind on my Ieiri unboxings and sadly, I'm not even keeping up with my Kajiura Yuki / FictionJunction and Kalafina unboxings. :(  And I would also like to do one for Suiyoubi no Campenella.  But not enough time!!!  時間が足りないよ！:(

So since this is the latest thing that I've received in the mail, I've decided that I'll do it first even though I have yet to do Kajiura Yuki's FictionJunction 2010-2013 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE 2 and also Kalafina's Budokan lives BDs, Suiyoubi no Campanella's latest album and Ieiri Leo's 20 album and the miss you single.  That's a lot. :(  And Kalafina's newest album far on the water will be released in the middle of this month.... I better chop chop and get as many of these things out of the way as possible... provided work isn't too crazy.

Anyway... enough of that... back to the main reason why I started writing this post. :P

FictionJunction Club ~ my first newsletter

Well, technically it's not in my hands yet because it's with my friend in Japan. :P  But I have finally sorted out my email and mail address problems and am now receiving FJC email and the newsletter.  I need to write to them later today to thank them for their help.  My Japanese is really not great yet, so I'm really glad that I managed to write to them and they understood me.  I hope I wasn't rude in anyway, although I'm sure I wrote very awkward nihongo. :P

So yeah, sorry for the tease.  You'll only see the envelope. I don't intend to put photos of the newsletter online even after I receive the physical copy from my friend.  It's an FJC exclusive which you get by entering the fan club so I don't feel it's right to post it all over the internet.  I just wanted to write this post because I'm SOOOOOOO happy that I got my first FJC newsletter.  After so many years of devotedly following Kajiura Yuki, FictionJunction and Kalafina, I made the decision to finally join the FJC this year in June and be counted as one of their official fans.  So I'm commemorating that decision and this moment with a blog post. :D

Kalafina ~ Line blog sharing test

I really rather like it that Kalafina has moved their blog to the LINE blog.

They announced it today (26th Aug 2015) that they are moving over from their old blog which was hosted on oricon.jp to the blog that is hosted on LINE... the new url is http://lineblog.me/kalafina
I'm not sure if they'll retain their current landing page which is http://www.kalafina.jp/ and then drive traffic from there to their new blog.  We'll see what happens when they change their artwork etc to promote the far on the water album.  That should be soon.

The new blog really makes sharing stuff from their blog a lot simpler and visually more attractive  now.  Next time, when I want to share stuff, I don't have to do screen captures and put a source link etc.

Kalafina ~ far on the water - nico nico live announce

Nice!!! Kalafina's just announced on their radio programme Kalafina Club, as well as their blog that there will be a nico nico live to commemorate the release of far on the water. :)

The full title is quite a mouthful. :)  The title of the programme is Kalafina Original New Album "far on the water" commemorative special Kalafina niconico club with lisani!

The programme is scheduled to stream online on nico nico's website on the 16th Sept 2015 at 2100hrs JST.  That's the day of the release of their new album. :)

I'm at work and am stealing time to write this.  So it will be v short. :D

Singapore Night Festival 2015

Last night I went to the Singapore Night Festival and it was really fun.  This isn't my first time at the eight year old festival.  I went last year too which was also very cool.  I usually don't like crowds and I will only go join one at events which I really, really, really want to attend like concerts, anime festivals etc.

So last year, I finally went to the festival and it was really cool.  Best part about it was that it's all free which is even cooler. LOL. :P

Anyway, I need to try and do some homework before class.  I'll just do a short write up, post up a few photos and an animated gif I made.  I partly want to test out how animated gif works in blogger too. :P

This is the animated gif I made.  It's the first one I've ever made too, so it's nothing fancy.  Just something I threw together from a couple of photos.  This is the light projection display on the National History Museum, This is Anooki Celebrate Singapore.  I didn't shoot video so there isn't any sound.  The music and the audio is really cute too.  I totally loved it. :)

Oh... looks like it's working quite well.  So... all one has to do is upload an animated gif directly to blogger and it'll just work. Okay lah... I'm quite swaku about these things. :P

Kalafina ~ One Light - Anime (Arslan Senki) version - unboxing

Ah.... it turned to be a relatively relaxing day at work after all.  Some of the things we needed to proceed with weren't in place yet so I could leave more or less on time which is cool because that means I can write this blog post, maybe play a bit of Zelda on my 3DS and then sleep early. :)

The Anime edition of Kalafina's singles release is almost always digipaks.  This is no exception.  The art of Arslan Senki is nice.  I like it.  It's different from the ufotable art style which I am very fond of but Arslan Senki's is nice too.

Kalafina ~ One Light - RE & LE CDs unboxing

Ahhhhhhhhhh.... you have no idea how less stress I feel now that one portion of my work has been completed and delivered.  I delivered it at 4am last night so have only slept 3 hours and am still feeling kind of a delirious high one gets when you body compensates for the lack of sleep by pumping you full of strange chemicals. :P  I was barely surviving for the last 2 to 3 weeks.  I really couldn't deal with very much else except work for a while.  There's still a lot of work to be done and this week will probably see more OT.  But the days of working till 3 to 4 am should be over for now. :)

So although I prefer to blog at night rather than before work, I do have a little time to blog since I decided not to do my morning exercise routine in favour of extra sleep so since there is a window of opportunity, I'll take it. :)

It'll be picture heavy again since I do have to go to work in a bit. :)

I decided to try and do this in parts since the likelihood of me working on the weekend is high.  We might have to work on both days too and I don't want to let it wait for too long since it might become like the Yuki Kajiura Best Live vol.2 and Ieiri Leo releases which I have yet to do.

As usual, I bought all copies but I'll only do the vinyl release in this post.  It'll also be picture heavy and text light because I have to prepare to go to work very soon after writing this post.

Kalafina ~ One Light - audio samples released

I just heard the audio samples for the other tracks on the soon to be released One Light single from Kalafina.  And I must say I'm really, really, really looking forward to the release of this single and hearing the B-side singles in full now. :)  If you want to listen to them too, CLICK ME.

Those who follow my blog will know that I like Keiko the best of the three vocalists in Kalafina and I was a little disappointed that Keiko was mixed under by a lot in One Light.  Well, at least in the tv size version of that track I could only really hear her clearly in two lines then she was mixed really under even in the harmony.  That doesn't mean that I didn't like the song at all because of that reason.  I actually am really in love with that chorus even though it's mostly Hikaru and Wakana who lead in that chorus. :)

Kalafina ~ Kalafina Museum - Animate postcards

The tokuten that Animate was giving out for the purchase of the Kalafina The Best Red Day / Blue Day Budokan Lives BDs was a nice case to slot these BDs in.  And yes... I actually haven't done that unboxing yet. :(  I really did to get on with it because One Light will ship soon enough so there will be more unboxings to deal with. *sweat

Anyway.... I digress... :P

I had the opportunity to purchase these BDs from Animate with the help of a very kind friend (thank you!) and so I decided to take that opportunity.  What made this even sweeter for me is that the purchase of these items coincided with one of the promotional events for the release of these BDs & DVDs.  That was the Kalafina Museum.  That's when they display some of the costumes that Kalafina wears during the lives, put up a bunch of photographs and sell you some merchandise. I think that Kalafina Museum is usually at one of the branches at Animate.  I went to one a few years ago and it was at Animate too.

I'm really busy lately.  Work has been really interesting and my skills are improving everyday with each new task I have been getting lately.  So that's great and all but the blog and my personal life has slowed down quite a bit.  But I really don't want to stop blogging for too long.  I do enjoy it.  I find it relaxing. :)

So just to keep at it... here's two short posts. :)  I intended to do these much much earlier but I've been so busy and also very tired.  So after I shoot of these two very short posts, I will go brush my teeth and go to sleep.
