Kalafina announced at the end of the Budokan live that they will sing the ending theme for the second season of ufotable's fate stay night ubw...

The new song is called ring your bell....walking now write more later. :)

Japan Trip Feb/Mar 2015 ~ Day 3 p3 - Kalafina live

I just finished buying concert goods. I spend more than I should. :P I didn't order the watch in the end, I really shouldn't spend that kind of money. It is very nice but....ah well.... :)

They had a display of the goods at the live. So here it is...have a look. Maybe if I have time, I will shoot a few shots and upload it later as I wait for my Japanese friend to come. :)

I am at the Nihon Budokan now. Waiting in line to buy goods for Kalafina's live. :)
There is a line some people must have come quite early.



I am not sure how far back we are but I am grateful the sun has come out. Feel warmer. I can hear some music in the background. It is very, very muffled so I can't really say what is being played...it could be a live event in the park for all I know.

They are saying that they will probably sell the goods a little earlier...at least I think that is what they are saying. Yay...would be nice not to have to wait too long in line. :)

Japan Trip Feb/Mar 2015 ~ Day 3 p1 - Bessatsu Kadokawa Kalafina wallpapers

Good morning!!  Today is the first day of Kalafina's first Budokan live. :)  I'm really looking forward to it. :)  This is the first thing I saw this morning when I finally checked my email. :)

Meanwhile, I received an email from Kadokawa with a "personalised" message from Kalafina and 4 attached wallpaers. :)  I got this email two days ago but I only just checked my email account. :)

Well, I write "personalised" because I don't think they wrote separate messages to everyone.  What they did though was start each email with your name.  The message was mostly about thanking you for buying the magazine and asking you to enjoy the magazine.  The message also said that the photos in this magazine will be of a more relaxed Kalafina, at least more relaxed then their previous photo shoots.  They talked a bit about how they felt honoured and that it was a miracle that they were able to hold their live in the Budokan. Then they thanked us for our support and asked for our continued support.  I'm just summarising it. :)

The email came with four attachments.  There are only two different poses actually. (note: I resized the photos a little because I'm on some limited data plan and I'm not sure how much I have used...so every little bit counts... but they should still be at a nice enough size for people to get a good look at it...sorry about that.)

Japan Trip Feb/Mar 2015 ~ Day 2 p2

Pretty tired today. Did lots of things again.

I'm just going to list it down for now and then amend with photos etc when I am less tired. :)

~ On our way to Ueno, we bought some bread from Asanoya at the JR station and it was v tasty.
~ At Asakusa, there was some procession going on, quite cool.  I bought some really nice katsu from Saboten and ate that.
~ We went to Yushima Tenjin Shrine to look at Plum Blossoms and it was v awesome
~ We went back to Ueno to go Ameyoko and it was really fun. Ate great seafood and bought lots of senbei
~ Went to Akihabara, went to the Tokyo Anime Centre to check out ufotable's Fate/stay night [UBW] exhibition. Cool!!  Checked out Kotobukiya which I always like checking out.  Bought some goods. :P
~ Returned to Ikebukuro to eat Ramen. :)
~ Hunted for the newly released mocha hagen daz ice cream and ate it.
~ end of Day 2. :)

Japan Trip Feb/Mar 2015 ~ Day 1 p2

WILL AMEND LATER WITH PHOTOS and more stuff ~ going out now. :)

We did finally get into the Pokémon Café yesterday. :)  But it was a really long wait.  We waited an hour in queue to get a ticket number.  Then we had to register our email by using a QR code that they had provided to get to an online app.  After that, we waited another two hours for them to email us to come back to the café, where we stood in line for another 15 mins, I think before we finally made it into the café.

Good thing they gave us a ticket number though because we did go check out the rest of Shibuya during those two hours.  If we had to wait in line for two hours, I think we may have given up because it would have wasted a lot of our limited time in Tokyo.

Japan Trip Feb/Mar 2015 ~ Day 1 p1

We are in Shibuya now. We got into Tokyo a lot earlier of course. Dropped off our luggage at the hotel, picked up my data SIM card, had coffee, walked around for a bit and then came to Shibuya.

I wanted to go to the Pokemon Cafe in Parco but OMG the queue is like ultra-long and still building. :(

I am at the airport now waiting to start my first trip to Japan since Oct 2013. :)

This weekend I will attend Kalafina's first Budokan live...totally looking forward to that and meeting all my friends in Japan. :)

Will try to mobile blog again. Hopefully phone doesn't give me problems etc. :)

Finally... the official FictionJunction Club website has announced the full line-up of all the goods that will be available at Kalafina's first Budokan live.

They've also announced that they will be accepting credit cards and after you view the full line-up, you'll know why.  It's quite a line-up indeed!!

Some of the following items were already made in the first and second announce.  The others will be new.  And they also released the design of the luggage bag.  Take a look below.

Kalafina's official website have announced that they will be giving out limited copies of a "signed" poster as a tokuten for those who buy 3000yen and above worth of CD/DVD/BD's in a single receipt at the booth located at the concert location.  "signed" is in quotation marks because if I read this correctly, the signatures are printed on the poster and not signed by the trio themselves.

They only have a limited copy of these posters so for those who are going, if you want one, you should plan on buying their CD/DVD/BDs there too.  I don't know if I'll even try and get one because I have virtually everything that they have released except some of the early limited edition releases and some alternate versions of albums and singles.  I could try and do things like buy a different version of the album for example, like the Regular version of "Consolation" or something like that but given how much this trip is going to cost me, I'm not sure if I want to do that.

We'll see, I hope to pick up some of the other concert goods so I may give this poster chance a miss.  If I didn't already have every single release, I would definitely try and get the poster.

Bessatsu Kadokawa ~ Kalafina - cover released

Ah.... the cover of the special issue of Bessatsu Kadokawa which features Kalafina has been released. :)

This magazine is being released as a commemorative issue for Kalafina's first Budokan live that will take place next weekend. :)

Yeah, I'm totally looking forward to the live and hoping that this will ship in time for me to pick up from my friend in Japan too. :)

According to the cover, the contents of the magazine include the following:

1) Spiritual Message - Wakana, Keiko, Hikaru (I have no idea what a Spiritual Message is, I'm thinking it's an interview of sorts)

2) Kajiura Yuki talks about Kalafina

Mobile Suit Gundam Origins 1: Blueeyed Casval screening in Singapore is getting a screening in SG. I can't go because I'll be in Japan. :(  Even though all I really know about Gundam is gunpla and vague memories of bits of Gundam that I watched when I was a child, I would have gone just to support anime screenings in SG. :(

It looks like a one day only thing... screening on the 28th Feb only... at least for now it seems that way.

Good news for Kajiura Yuki and Kalafina fans who don't reside in Japan. :) If you were wondering how to get your hands on this issue of the magazine; various online sites, including CDJapan, have started to list this item.

Ahhhhhh....the FictionJunction Club website has finally revealed some of the goods that they'll be making available at their lives at the Budokan.

Hmmmm... no T-shirts yet.  That'll probably come in the second announce.  Still nothing about whether fan club members can pre-order the goods.... fingers crossed that FJC members can. :)

Okay... time for bed.... it's going to be a very busy weekend for me.... working on Sunday again which I'm okay with... but I'm going to have to try and sleep more...

Space Craft webstore - guide ~ how to order Kalafina, Kajiura Yuki etc stuff

I decided to write this post to help out someone who asked me how to order from the Space Craft webstore.  The webstore isn't the easiest place to order stuff from and I remembered it took me numerous tries when I first tried to register for an account there.  My Japanese was a not very good then so it was a little frustrating but I managed to make it work in the end. :)  So to help other fans who may be interested but find it intimidating etc... here's a little guide. :)

Kyouko Sakura, who left a comment below, reminded me that I should say this from the get-go. Thanks!!  The Space Craft store only ships to addresses in Japan.  So if you are an international fan and wish to purchase items from their webstore, it will be easier for you to use a proxy to make these purchases, hence, you will probably not have any use for this guide.  This guide is really only useful for people who have friends in Japan and prefer not to trouble their friends by purchasing these items and sending them to their friend's address in Japan.  :)

Yuki Kajiura Live vol.#12 ~ two additional days added in Tokyo

I just work up from a nap after dinner. :P  Seriously tired out but am a little too awake now.  Not the best thing to do... napping after dinner. :)

Anyway... I just saw this on the FictionJunction Club fan site.  It looks like Kajiura Yuki's lives sold well because they're adding an additional two nights to vol.12 in Tokyo.

Kalafina and angela live in Thailand for Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2015 :)

Rejoice Thai fans of Kalafina and angela !!! Anime Festival Asia has just announced that Kalafina will be attending the first AFA Thailand.



I kinda suspected that Kalafina would go because so far they've been to all the countries that AFA's been to once, including the one and only time there was AFAMY so far.

OMG I sooooooo want to go..... but I don't know if I can get leave and whether I have the money to go.

Arrrgggh.... back to work.... so busy. :(

I asked for Kara no Kyoukai figures because by the time I fell in love with KnK, those figures were long gone. :(

Arrrrggghhhhh...another concert announce!  That's awesome news but bad for my wallet.  I have already decided to try and secure tickets to Liang Wenfu's 2015 live on the 10th of April.  Tickets for that live go on sale on Sunday.  I'm going to try and bring my mum to that live...treat from me. :)

angela's official YouTube channel has begun streaming the FULL VERSION of their soon to be released song "exist" (OP for Soukyuu no Fafner: EXODUS).  Make sure you view this soon because this is will be streamed for 100 hours only.

It'll stream from Feb 2nd at 12:50am to Feb 6th at 4:50am.  I'm assuming that these are JST times.
