Maya - assignment 5

Here's Assignment 5. I actually completed it last week but was too lazy to put it online. I'm quite pleased with my face and blendshape modelling for this assignment. But I had trouble rigging it and ended up re-doing that and paint weighting so many times that I actually ran out of time to do proper animation. Sigh.... so yet another imperfect piece of work.

Still, I think I'm really getting the hang of it. And I enjoy animation more and more.

After this I have to try and finish Assignment 6 as quickly as possible then I've got my final assignment to finish up. So going to be super busy for a while.

Anyway, I hope you like my sync sound assignment. =)

This is just too funny

A friend emailed this to me. I thought it was hilarious and thought I'll share it with whoever is interested.

any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or

Maya - man

Been a while since I updated the blog but have been rather busy with my latest assignment. This time I'm suppose to do sync sound. Here's a look at the character I modeled and that we're suppose to animate. I'm in the midst of rigging it right now and should finish that soon. After that I'll animate it to the audio file. We're using blend shapes to animate the talking.

Okay, I'm going to try and get s bit of sleep first cuz I'm really smashed these few days. Tomorrow, I'll have to work extra hard as I need to finish this up and hand it in on Saturday morning. Hopefully nothing really crops up and hopefully I can get up early. =)
